  • For The Dough
  • 3 1/2 cups Carbquik

  • 1 cup water

  • For The Filling
  • 6 tablespoons softened butter

  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon

  • 1 cup brown swerve

  • For The Caramel Glaze
  • 1 cup brown sugar swerve

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 1/4 cup milk (or milk alternative)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup pecans, chopped


  • In a large bowl, combine Carbquik and water until a firm dough forms. Pour the dough mixture onto a clean surface that has been floured with a few teaspoons of Carbquik and knead for 2-3 minutes. After kneading, let the dough rest for 5 minutes.
  • Roll the dough out into a rectangle, spread on a layer of butter, sprinkle on the brown swerve and top with cinnamon. Roll up the dough lengthwise, cut into 8 equal pieces and transfer to a greased 8×8 or 9×9 baking dish.
  • Bake at 375 F in a preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove cinnamon rolls from oven and cool at least 5 minutes before dressing them with the caramel glaze and garnishing with pecans.
  • To make the caramel glaze: whisk butter and brown swerve in a saucepan on medium heat until it reaches a boil. Remove from heat and stir in milk and vanilla extract.
  • (Optional: After glazing and garnishing the cinnamon rolls with caramel and pecans, bake them for an additional 5 minutes to enhance the flavors.)
